Welcome! I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, holding a Diploma in ‘Solution Focused’ Hypnotherapy (DSFH), with the Gold Standard prestigious CPHT School of Hypnotherapy, a classroom-only based training course which is accredited by the Professional standards Authority.
I hold a Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) of which approximately only 20% of UK Hypnotherapists attain.
I hold a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Manchester, providing me with the skills, knowledge & unique insight into drugs, how they work & I have helped clients to come off medication, whilst under the supervision of their GP.

What is ‘Solution Focused’ Hypnotherapy (SFH) and how can it help you?
Originally developed by David Newton, one of the UK’s most successful hypnotherapists, SFH has transformed the field of Hypnotherapy.
SFH is very effective because it is a modern evidence-based therapy that incorporates a unique blend of the following to achieve long-lasting, positive changes:
-Neuroscience & Physiology: Education on how the brain, mind, body works with respect to the stress response. Gradually you will start to understand intellectually & eventually emotionally, so you can react differently and not slip back into negative cycles when confronted with certain triggers.
-Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Realising what is already positive in your life & building on that by setting achievable goals for success that can be achieved in a short period of time.
-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Breaking negative thought patterns by promoting a positive mindset and creating new positive thought patterns and behaviours.
-Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP): Tools to alter negative thought patterns and behaviours and question negative limiting beliefs about yourself.
-Hypnosis/Trance: A deeply relaxed state where your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions.
SFH is 'solution' focused and builds on the positives in your life it does not concentrate on the problems of the past but rather positives, this is what sets it apart from other 'problem' focused traditional analytical/talking therapies, which
typically involves revisiting/analysing past painful/traumatic
experiences again in the present moment with sometimes limited results and efficacy.

Imagine your mind as a bucket that has accumulated all your past negative experiences, current stresses, worries, and fears.

Initial Consultation IC (60 minutes), £45
An initial consultation is essential before booking a Hypnotherapy session. During the initial consultation, we will discuss your health history and your situation to create a personalised treatment plan for us to work towards your goals together.
Afterwards, I will explain how the brain, mind and body works in order for you to understand how you can regain control of your life and achieve your goals. You will also receive a free MP3 to listen to daily, reinforcing the benefits of your sessions and improving your sleep quality.
You have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. The session will give us plenty of time to connect without feeling rushed.
Hypnotherapy Session (60 minutes+), £60 [£50 for under 16's, students, disabled, unemployed, low income]
Each session will consist of a combination of Neuroscience/Brain explanation revision, Psychotherapy techniques to guide you to realise what aspects you may need to alter or integrate into your life to achieve what you need to and finally hypnosis/trance which bridges the vast intellectual resource of the conscious mind with the subconscious mind to come up with solutions and get the very best out of you. These methods are designed to create fast, long-lasting, and positive changes in your life. The number of sessions required will depend on your specific circumstances and goals, typically 8-12 sessions but everyone is unique of course, some needing less and some more.
Stop Smoking/Vaping (90 mins to 2 hours), £140
The stop smoking or vaping session is a single intensive double session lasting up to 2 hours.
We will begin with an Initial Consultation to get a full picture of your smoking habits and motivations and explain how smoking and the brain/body works.
I will then guide you through a powerful Hypnotherapy experience, where we reinforce positive suggestions tailored to your goals, embedding them in your subconscious to support long-term change.

Phobias
During the initial consultation we will assess whether your case is a 'simple' or 'complex' phobia.
'Simple phobias' is a situation where a person has a single phobia but no other existing anxieties or stress related issues. This will typically require an Initial Consultation and 3 sessions.
You’ll be provided with access to a MP3 recording to listen to for the duration of the sessions and beyond to support a successful outcome.
'Complex' phobias are when a person has 1 or more phobias alongside ongoing anxiety, stress and/or depression.
If you have a complex phobia, we begin with 'Stress bucket emptying' sessions which rid you of stress/other anxieties before we tackle your phobia/s. People commonly have complex phobias.
FAQ'S
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Every person is completely unique; hence the number of sessions depends on your specific symptoms, circumstances and goals.
Simple phobias can often be resolved in 3-4 sessions, Generalised anxiety/stress and complex phobias may take 8-12 sessions or more depending on the circumstances. We will discuss a treatment plan for you during your Initial Consultation.
Of course, you are free to change your mind when you wish and are always in control of your sessions. The aim is to get you to a point where you have the necessary tools and knowledge to move forwards with confidence, strength and tools gained.
Weekly sessions to begin with is advised for optimal results, however of course, sessions can be spaced out more as you feel stronger and more confident. You are always in control.
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis or trance is very natural, everyone goes into trance naturally throughout the day, like when we are driving a regular route or even watching TV.
Hypnosis is a state of focused concentration where you’re deeply relaxed yet completely aware. It is a peaceful & enjoyable experience where you are more aware, in complete control and your sub conscious mind is more open to positive suggestion.
When you are in a trance state the predominant brain waves change from Beta* waves (waking consciousness/anxiety/stress) to:
Alpha waves promotes relaxation, problem solving, heightens imagination, learning, concentration and is a natural anti depressant.
Gamma waves improves concentration, cognition, receptivity, bursts of insight and high–level information processing.
Delta waves reduces stress, release Melatonin, It is experienced in deep sleep and is the realm of your unconscious mind, promoting healing and regeneration.
Theta waves are present during deep meditation and light sleep, including the all-important REM dream state. It is the realm of your subconsciousness. It promotes higher intuition & advanced problem solving.
Trance helps you see things from a different and clear perspective through focused attention & deep relaxation where you are most suggestable to positive desired changes.
The change in brain waves makes it easier for you to take on new ideas and positive thinking. It is the unconscious mind, that listens and makes changes, so it is not necessary for you to consciously remember what was said. What is important is the transformation of positive suggestion into action and it happens at the subconscious level of the mind.
*Note: Traditional 'problem focused/talking' Psychotherapies can actually increase beta waves, increasing anxiety and stress! due to revisiting past traumas/fears
What If I Fall Asleep?
This is completely fine and hypnotherapy is still effective when people fall asleep, the positive narrative still reaches the sub conscious mind. People experience different levels of trance, and while you might feel deeply relaxed, it’s quite rare for a person to fully fall asleep. However if you do fall asleep, I simply guide you back at the end of the session.
Can Hypnosis Make Me Do Something I Don’t Want to Do?
Certainly not, you are in complete control throughout the whole duration. Hypnotherapy cannot force you to act against your will. If a suggestion is inappropriate for you, your mind will simply ignore it. Trance actually increases awareness.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Only positive effects! commonly most people feel peaceful, relaxed, positive and energetic.
Everyone can and does enter a trance state every day, it’s a natural. However, the willingness to relax and engage with the process is key to successful hypnosis, there needs to be a real intent from yourself to want to get better and achieve your goals.
Can Children Be Hypnotised?
Yes, children can be hypnotised and often respond well due to their natural suggestibility. Hypnotherapy for children is adapted to be age-appropriate and can help with issues like anxiety, phobias, and confidence and more.
Will I Have to Talk About My Past?
The beauty of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is we focus on the present and future, the positive goals you wish to work towards and attain. We can accept but not talk in depth on past bad memories. It is not important to over analyse the past, all we need to address is it was stressful time, we concentrate on releasing that stress in the present moment and concentrate on HOW we can get you to achieving your future goals.
Do you offer Hypnotherapy Online?
I offer online hypnotherapy as well as face to face, remote is just as effective as in-person sessions. Every person has different preferences, some clients can feel more relaxed in their own homes, or it is simply due to distance. Online Hypnotherapy may also be more ideal for certain conditions such as agoraphobia.
How Effective Is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy has shown success in addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, phobias, and chronic pain. The effectiveness often depends on the client’s level of commitment.
What If Hypnotherapy Isn’t for Me?

What If I am on medication?
SFH can support individuals who are taking prescribed medication for example conditions like anxiety, depression, persistant pain. SFH addresses the underlying thought patterns and behaviours to encourage long-term improvements. Through SFH I have helped clients to come off medication always under supervision of their healthcare provider. Consult your healthcare provider before starting any therapy alongside medication.
